The 3rd CIS Games have come to an end in Azerbaijan. On the final day, Uzbekistan’s rhythmic gymnastics team earned a bronze medal in the group event — in routines with five hoops and five pairs of clubs.

In total, Team Uzbekistan finished the Games with 25 gold, 33 silver, and 61 bronze medals — 119 in total — placing 4th in the overall standings, behind Russia, Azerbaijan, and Belarus.

These Games served as an important stage of preparation and valuable experience for Uzbekistan’s young athletes. While the country’s main youth squads are preparing for the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, which begin in just 10 days, the coaching staff decided to send a group of promising reserve athletes to compete in Azerbaijan — and they performed admirably, demonstrating skill and determination throughout the event.
