Aziz Tashpulatov Elected President of the Uzbekistan Mixed Martial Arts Association
An extraordinary reporting and election conference of the Uzbekistan Mixed Martial Arts Association was held today, attended by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic Committee, and other officials.
During the conference, the leadership structure of the Association was renewed, and key development priorities for the near future were discussed.
Taking into consideration his successful leadership at the Volleyball Federation of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was nominated for the position of President of the Mixed Martial Arts Association. His candidacy received unanimous support from the participants of the conference.
In addition, new vice presidents, a secretary general, and executive directors were elected, completing the formation of the Association’s leadership team.
Officials congratulated the newly elected management and wished them success in their continued efforts to further develop mixed martial arts in Uzbekistan.
