CIS Games: Uzbekistan’s Gold Medal Count Reaches 25
The 3rd CIS Games are coming to an end in Azerbaijan, and Team Uzbekistan continues to showcase an impressive performance. Following yesterday’s events, our delegation added 3 gold, 2 silver, and 5 bronze medals to its tally.
Gold:
- Javokhir Sharifboev (Greco-Roman wrestling, up to 45 kg)
- Farid Karimov (Greco-Roman wrestling, up to 48 kg)
- Abduaziz Kholmurzaev (Greco-Roman wrestling, up to 80 kg)
Silver:
- Saidamir Nematov (Greco-Roman wrestling, up to 110 kg)
- Uzbekistan’s national chovgan team
Bronze:
- Azizbek Barlikbaev (Greco-Roman wrestling, up to 65 kg)
- Fakhrikamol Komiljonov (Greco-Roman wrestling, up to 92 kg)
- Fencing (men’s épée team)
- Fencing (women’s sabre team)
- Rhythmic gymnastics (clubs, group routine)
With these results, Uzbekistan’s delegation now holds 25 gold, 33 silver, and 60 bronze medals. The final day of the 3rd CIS Games will take place today.
