Uzbekistan’s judo team added another success to its record as Shakhram Akhadov (-73 kg) captured the silver medal at the prestigious Grand Prix tournament in Qingdao.

In the decisive final bout, Akhadov faced Japan’s Yudai Tanaka. Despite a strong and determined performance, the Uzbek judoka fell short against his opponent, ultimately securing second place.

This result further underlines Akhadov’s consistency on the international stage and adds another medal to Uzbekistan’s growing judo achievements.
