Member of the Uzbekistan freestyle wrestling team Gulomjon Abdullaev (−57 kg) won a bronze medal at the ongoing World Championships in Croatia. In the match for third place, our compatriot defeated Vladimir Yegorov from North Macedonia. It is important to note that this award became the first World Championships medal in Abdullaev’s career.
