A Solemn Opening Ceremony of the Uzbekistan Squash and Padel Federation Took Place
Today, in the Central Eco Park named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, a solemn opening ceremony of the Uzbekistan Squash and Padel Federation took place. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic Committee, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Qatar to Uzbekistan Hassan Hamza Hashim, a representative of international sport and former President of the International Esports Federation Vlad Marinescu, the leadership of the Squash and Padel Federation, as well as enthusiasts of these sports.
Officials congratulated those present on the start of the activities of the new organization and wished success in further work. Today, squash and padel are rapidly gaining popularity all over the world. In particular, squash is included in the program of the Asian Games Aichi–Nagoya 2026 and the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028.
Within the framework of the ceremony, professional athletes demonstrated their skills in both disciplines, introducing guests to the peculiarities of these sports.
