On a working visit to our country, the Special Envoy of the President of the United States of America for Global Partnership Paolo Zampolli, accompanied by the leadership of the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic Committee, and the Football Association of Uzbekistan, paid a visit to the Olympic Village and the National Football Center.

Paolo Zampolli, who visited the Olympic Village built on the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, became thoroughly acquainted with the modern sports facilities located on its territory.

Mr. Zampolli highly appreciated the significance of the Olympic Village, which fully complies with international standards and in the future will allow holding prestigious sports competitions, as well as contribute to strengthening the image of Uzbekistan as a sporting nation.

In addition, the guest inspected the National Football Center, which was put into operation on the eve of Independence Day on the initiative of the Head of our state, and became familiar with the stadiums, educational buildings, and sports halls of the complex.

Special attention was given to the activities of the Training and Research Center in the field of football, the National Teams Training Center, the Republican Football Academy, as well as the Centers of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation created for the preparation of professional football players and specialists.
