An International Conference on Fencing Is Taking Place in Tashkent
Today in Tashkent, the 5th International Conference on the topic: “Global Development of Fencing in the World: Problems, Solutions and Innovations” started. At the opening ceremony, the leaders of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Olympic Committee participated.
The conference is organized with the assistance of the International Fencing Academy, the Asian, Pan American and African Fencing Confederations, and is of great importance for the development of this sport on the continents.
Officials noted that the development of fencing in our country is reaching a new level and serious preparation is already underway for the World Championships, which will be hosted by Tashkent next year.
The conference will last two days. Within its framework, numerous specialists will give presentations on various topics dedicated to the popularization of fencing worldwide.
