“Olympic Peaks of New Uzbekistan” Competitions Held Across Seven Regions
Today saw multiple events as part of the nationwide “Olympic Peaks of New Uzbekistan” competitions. In Tashkent Region, with the participation of regional administration leaders, the Ministry of Sports, and the NOC, the symbolic start of the second stage was given.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Samarkand Region, competitions in wrestling and boxing were held. In Nukus, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbayev, attended the boxing tournament’s opening ceremony.
In Bukhara, Kashkadarya, and Jizzakh regions, boxing qualifiers were organised. Additionally, Tashkent hosted judo competitions, while in Fergana Region, artistic gymnastics events determined their winners and prize-winners.
