Meeting Held with OCA Vice President Gordon Tang
Another important meeting aimed at strengthening international cooperation took place as part of the ongoing efforts by Uzbekistan’s sports leadership. Otabek Umarov, First Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan and Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), together with NOC Secretary General Oybek Kasimov, held talks with Gordon Tang, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia and Vice President of the OCA.
During the meeting, both OCA Vice Presidents emphasized that sport across the Asian continent continues to strengthen its presence on the global stage. The parties also discussed a number of pressing topics concerning the future of Asian sports, including ways to support higher achievements by Asian athletes in international competitions.
