As part of the World Aquatics Championships taking place in Singapore, the official delegation of Uzbekistan is holding a series of meetings with leaders of international sports organizations.

One such meeting was held with Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, First Vice President of the Association of National Olympic Committees and President of the Qatar Olympic Committee. During the discussion, the parties explored ways to elevate the multifaceted sports cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar to a new level.

Held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, His Highness Sheikh Joaan commended the rapid development of sports in Uzbekistan, citing the qualification of the national football team for the World Cup as a notable example. The meeting also included discussions on organizing joint training camps to prepare national teams for major multi-sport events and exchanging expertise to enhance the qualifications of local professionals.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of practical cooperation that has already been achieved between the two countries.
