A historic moment for Uzbekistan! At the latest stage of the Boxing World Cup, held in Astana, Navbahor Khamidova etched her name into the record books by becoming the first Uzbek female boxer to win gold at this prestigious tournament.

In a stunning performance, Khamidova defeated Turkey’s Busenaz Sürmeneli — a three-time world champion and Olympic gold medalist — with a dominant 5:0 decision in the final.
