A national archery coaching seminar officially kicked off today in Tashkent, bringing together coaches from across Uzbekistan. The event is being held as part of the IOC’s Olympic Solidarity program, in collaboration with World Archery, the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, and the Uzbekistan Archery Federation.

A total of 27 coaches from 12 regions of the country and the city of Tashkent are taking part in the seminar.

The sessions are led by Victoria Koval, a seasoned expert and head of the World Archery Sports Commission from Ukraine. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of modern training methodologies for preparing athletes for major international competitions, as well as familiarize themselves with the latest rule updates and decisions from the international governing body.

The seminar is being held at the Republican Center for Olympic and Paralympic Sports Training and will run through June 30.
