Team Uzbekistan Adds Five More Medals at Asian Wrestling Championships
The second day of competition at the Asian Wrestling Championships for U17 and U23 age groups has concluded in Vietnam, with Team Uzbekistan adding five more medals to its growing collection. The day featured bouts in Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling, with Uzbek athletes securing 1 silver and 4 bronze medals.

63 kg – Khusniddin Olimboev
Bronze Medals:
55 kg – Jonpulot Tulkinboev
87 kg – Rakhimjon Uzoqov
50 kg – Mushtariy Tolipbekova
59 kg – Laylo Sobirova
Notably, Uzbekistan’s U23 Greco-Roman team, which earned 2 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals over the course of the championship, finished in third place overall in the team standings.
