Uzbekistan Discusses Archery Cooperation with World Archery Federation Delegation

Today, the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan hosted a delegation from the World Archery Federation, including General Secretary Tom Dielen, Vice President of the International World Games Association; Zorigto Mankhanov, head of the Russian Archery Federation; and Yeonsul Chan, Vice President of the Archery Association of the Republic of Korea.

The distinguished guests were welcomed by Major General Rustam Djuraev, Commander of the National Guard of Uzbekistan and Chairman of the Uzbekistan Archery Federation, alongside Oybek Kasimov, Secretary General of the NOC.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the development of archery in Uzbekistan, the organization of international tournaments, and promising avenues for future cooperation. Uzbek representatives also briefed the guests on extensive sports reforms currently underway under the initiative of the esteemed President of Uzbekistan.

The foreign guests expressed strong appreciation for the visible progress, having witnessed it firsthand, and voiced confidence in the potential of Uzbek athletes to achieve high results on the global stage.

The conversation took place in a friendly atmosphere, with both sides exploring a number of proposals and initiatives aimed at mutually beneficial collaboration moving forward.
