The Asian Weightlifting Championships came to a close in the Chinese city of Ji’an, with the final day featuring the heavyweight category competitions.

In the +109 kg division, Uzbekistan’s Amir Abdullaev lifted 182 kg in the snatch, securing a bronze medal.

With this result, the Uzbekistan national team finished the continental event with a total of 12 medals: 3 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze. Notably, Uzbekistan ranked fourth in the overall medal standings at the championship.
