"Healthy People – Strong Nation": A Vital Step Toward Building a Corporate Sports Culture
A special event was held to mark the official launch of the Uzbekistan Corporate Sports Association and to promote the development of corporate sports aimed at fostering physical culture among employees of companies and organizations, as well as increasing public engagement in mass sports activities.
The event was attended by Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Head of the Corporate Sports Association’s Board, as well as senior officials from the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic Committee, and prominent entrepreneurs.
In their remarks, the speakers emphasized the importance of putting into practice the presidential initiative “Healthy People – Strong Nation” by encouraging greater physical activity among employees in the workplace.
Additionally, representatives of the business sector shared their plans to popularize sports such as football, futsal, and athletics within their organizations.
