"Physical Fitness Level": Symbolic Launch of University Sports Competitions Held in Tashkent
A symbolic start to the "Physical Fitness Level" sports challenge was given today at Tashkent State University of Economics as part of the ongoing Student Festival. The event was attended by Odil Abdurakhmanov, Director of the Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, along with top officials from the Ministries of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Sports, and representatives from the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees.
In their opening remarks, the dignitaries emphasized the positive impact of initiatives launched under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan to promote a healthy lifestyle and improve the overall well-being of the population.
It is worth noting that May holds special importance for the country's higher education institutions. The mass sports events being held as part of the “Month of Sports” are playing a key role in increasing physical activity among students and providing a platform for them to realize their athletic potential.
