Ministry of Sports and NOC leadership visit schools as youth showcase potential in physical trials
As part of ongoing efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle and engage the broader population—especially youth—in mass sports, special athletic trials are being held for schoolchildren across the capital.
Today, the leadership of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Olympic Committee took part in these activities. Officials visited several general education schools in Tashkent to observe the sporting events firsthand.
In particular, Minister of Sports Adkham Ikramov and First Vice President of the NOC Otabek Umarov visited schools No. 86 and No. 220 in the Yunusabad district, where they watched young athletes in action. The leaders also spoke with students, learned about their interest in sports, and listened to their goals and aspirations for the future.
