“Healthy Person – Healthy Nation”: A Symbolic Start to Sports Competitions
Today, at the Museum of Olympic and Paralympic Glory in Tashkent, a symbolic start was given to the multiple sports competitions “Level of Physical Fitness” among pupil, as well as the Uzbekistan Federation of Trade Unions Cup among teachers under the slogan “Healthy Teacher – Quality Education,” as part of the nationwide movement “Healthy Person – Healthy Nation.”
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from the fields of sports and education, officials, and members of the public. The speakers at the event noted that comprehensive reforms are being consistently implemented in Uzbekistan to promote a healthy lifestyle and ensure the physical development of the younger generation.
