Our Footballers Reach the Semifinals
The Uzbekistan U17 national football team has advanced to the semifinals of the AFC U-17 Championship, currently taking place in Saudi Arabia. In the quarterfinals, our team defeated the UAE 3-1.

Hockey Players Face Hosts
Today, the Uzbekistan national ice hockey team will play their second-round match in the World Championship Division IV. Our opponents will be the host team, Armenia, considered one of the main competitors in the tournament.

European Judo Championship Concludes
On April 12–13, the European Judo Championship for adults and youth was held in Batumi, Georgia. 150 athletes from 19 countries participated in the event. The special guest of the competition was the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the first Vice President of the International Judo Association, Adham Ikramov.

Boxers Compete in Tournaments in Baku and Khabarovsk
The international boxing tournament "Great Silk Road" is taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan. Twelve members of the Uzbekistan national boxing team have already reached the semifinals, securing at least bronze medals. Today, they will fight for a spot in the final.

From April 15–19, the International Boxing Memorial Tournament will be held in Khabarovsk, Russia. More than 150 athletes from 16 countries, including Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Cuba, China, and Georgia, will participate. Representing Uzbekistan in the ring will be 19 boxers, including two-time Olympic Champion Hasanboy Dusmatov, as well as Shodiarjon Melikuziev, Gulsevar Ganieva, and Aziza Zokirova.

Unusual Situation at the European Wrestling Championship
From April 7–13, the European Wrestling Championship took place in Slovakia. In Greco-Roman wrestling, in the 72 kg weight category, an unusual situation occurred. The final match ended in a 4–4 draw, and by the decision of the judges, both finalists – Levente Levai (Hungary) and Ibrahim Ghanem (France) – were declared joint gold medalists.
