Our climber was duly awarded

Our climber, Sergey Denisenko, who climbed Everest on June 1, was awarded by the government after returning to Tashkent. Today, a large festive event was held in honor of the climber.

The event was attended by Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Abduvahidov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov, Press Secretary of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov, representatives of the general sports community and the media. The officials who spoke particularly noted the attention paid by the government to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and mass sports. Abdujabbor Abduvakhidov presented the climber with the honorary title "Uzbekistan Iftikhori", and Sherzod Asadov presented the president with a Traiblazer car, for the fact that Denisenko contributed to raising the country's image on the world stage. In turn, the climber shared his impressions.

"The reason for my passion for mountaineering is the rich nature of our country and unique mountain peaks. I have been preparing for 1.5 years to overcome the peak. I dedicate my achievement to the 30th anniversary of the independence of Uzbekistan and our generous people. I am very pleased with the attention paid by our Esteemed President, " the hero said.

The responsible persons who attended the event congratulated the climber on such a success and wished him good luck in his future activities.
