Our athlete has fulfilled the standard of Tokyo-2020
An international athletics competition is being held in Almaty (Kazakhstan). It is noteworthy that today our athlete Sukhrob Khuzhaev managed to fulfill the Tokyo 2020 standard.
Khuzhaev took part in the hammer throwing sector and showed a result of 77.57 meters. And this is 7 cm more than the Tokyo 2020 standard.
Also, thanks to this result, our athlete became the leader of the continent this season. Khuzhaev managed to beat the winner of the Asian Games from Qatar by 3 m.
Thus, the number of our athletes who met the Tokyo 2020 standard became 3. Before that, Svetlana Radzivil and Safina Sadullayeva managed to meet the Olympic standard in high jumping.
