Today, three of our representatives will compete for Tokyo 2020 licenses

Today, three representatives of the Uzbek national team in kayaking and canoeing and taekwondo will compete for Tokyo 2020 licenses.

As we reported earlier, yesterday in Barnaul (Russia) the Tokyo 2020 license tournament on a global scale has started. Having successfully passed the qualifying stage, our girl Gulbakhor Fayzieva won the opportunity to compete for the Tokyo 2020 license in the 200-meter swim. It should be noted that in this direction, the athlete who won the 1st place has a chance to be awarded the Tokyo 2020 license.

Also, a licensed taekwondo tournament for the Asian continent starts today in Jordan. Within the framework of this day, two Uzbek taekwondo athletes — Nigora Tursunkulova (-67 kg) and Ulugbek Rashitov (-68 kg) will go to dayan.

The number of participants in the weight category -67 kg is only 3. According to the results of the draw, Tursunkulova will fight with Maram Fatnassi from Qatar and if she wins it, she will win the license of the Tokyo Olympics. According to the regulations, only the finalists of the tournament have a chance to become licensees of the Olympiad. And Ulugbek Rashitov will have to fight 3 battles. His first opponent is Natsagdorj Achithu from Mongolia.

The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan wishes success to our athletes in today's competition. New victories for the new Uzbekistan!
