Today, one of the famous representatives of Uzbek taekwondo, Zhasur Baykuziev, celebrates his birthday.
Zhasur Baykuziev was born on September 4, 1986 in Angren. Zhasur Baykuziev, who competed in the -87 kg weight category, climbed the podium of the Asian Championship 4 times. He is a silver medalist at the 2015 World Championships and a gold medalist at the 2014 Asian Games. In 2014, Zhasur Baykuziev became the first among taekwondo athletes of Uzbekistan, who became the winner at the Asian Championship and the Asian Games. He was awarded the honorary title "Honored Athlete of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
