Hurboev Zohitjon and Sardorbek Begaliev won bronze medals in the First Youth Olympic Games in Singapore.
In the weight category 48 kg Hurboev Zohitjon confirmed the continuity of Andijan school of boxing. In the final, with the score 7 - 0, he defeated a boxer from Singapore Hamid Mohd.

First Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, 14-26 August, 2010
Athletes, who qualify to participate in the first Summer Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, will compete for 201 set of medals in 29 sports. Because of limited number of licenses only the strongest athletes were awarded with the right to represent their countries at Olympiads.

Today, Uzbekistan athletes had a flight to Singapore for First Youth Olympic Game participation. Athletes– boys and girls born in 1993-1994, will take part in 11 kinds of sports including gymnastics, weightlifting, freestyle and Greco-roman wrestling, swimming, shooting.
